  1. 1. Move the slider on bottom of the MP4 Player to the left to turn on the MP4 Player. It may come partially charged with sample content pre-loaded.
  2. 2. Have a play around with the buttons to get a feel for the player and how it works. Click on 'The Buttons' tab for a detailed overview of what each button does.
  3. 3. When you're ready to load on your own music, videos, pictures or text, plug the MP4 player into your computer using the USB cable provided. Then click on your operating system below for detailed instructions on how to transfer your files.

First, plug your MP4 player into your computer using the supplied USB cable. Windows should automatically recognise the device and start installing it. Once it has completed this (a message should appear in the system tray at the bottom right of the screen), your MP4 player is installed, and you can transfer music & pictures or any files you might want to store on it. To do this, simply go to 'Start>My Computer' and double click on Removable Disk. You can paste files into the directories here and they will be transferred to the MP4 Player.

If you want to place videos on your MP4 player, you must resize the files so that they display correctly on the screen. To do this, take a look at the instructions provided below.

Copying Video Files

Your MP4 player will play .AMV videos, so you must install the software to convert your standard videos. This software is provided on the disk supplied with your MP4 player, or you can download it from our website. After you have installed the software, launch it by clicking 'AMV Converter' under 'MP3 Player Utilities' on the Start Menu. You should then receive a similar screen to this:

To convert your video, you must first select the video you want. To do this, click on the 'Find source file' button (circled in red). You can then browse your computer for the video you want to covert.

Then, select the target location. We recommend placing the file in your documents or desktop. To do this, click on the 'Find target file' button (circled in black). Select a folder in the popup window.

The final step is to start converting your video. Click on the 'Start converting' button (circled in white). The progress bar at the bottom of the software will show you when the conversion is complete. At this point, a box will appear copying the file to your MP4 Player.

That's it! We hope you enjoy using your new MP4 Player!
