Touch Screen MP4 Player Support

  • Windows XP
  • Windows Vista
  • Downloads
  1. 1. Move the slider on top of the MP4 Player to the right to turn on the MP4 Player. It may come partially charged with sample content pre-loaded.
  2. 2. Have a play around with the buttons to get a feel for the player and how it works. There is a calibration utility in 'Settings>System>Calibrate' if you are finding it hard to use. The screen will become more sensitive over time.
  3. 3. When you're ready to load on your own music, videos, pictures or text, plug the MP4 player into your computer using the USB cable provided. Then click on your operating system below for detailed instructions on how to transfer your files.

First, plug your MP4 player into your computer using the supplied USB cable. Windows should automatically recognise the device and start installing it. Once it has completed this (a message should appear in the system tray at the bottom right of the screen), your MP4 player is installed, and you can transfer music & pictures or any files you might want to store on it. To do this, simply go to 'Start>My Computer' and double click on Removable Disk. You will notice that there are 2 new removable disks, as one is to transfer files to the Mini SD Card, if you have installed one. You want to copy files to the first removable disk. You can copy files to the MP4 player just as if you were copying files to a folder in windows.

In the 'My Computer' window, double click on either:

The icon ringed in blue to transfer files to the MP4 player memory.

The icon ringed green to transfer files to a Mini SD Card inserted in the MP4 Player.

Please note that your drive letters might be different, depending on your system setup, although they will still be marked with 'Removable Disk'.

If you want to place videos on your MP4 player, you must resize the files so that they display correctly on the screen. To do this, take a look at the instructions provided below.

Copying Video Files

To place a video file on your MP4 player, it must first be in the correct format, with the correct resolution. To do this, you must install the provided conversion software. This is located on the CD. When you have navigated to the CD Drive, double click on '2.4,2.8inch AVIConverter 3.0-Beta setup' and then 'AVIConverter_320x240_20FPS_EN_V3.0' and follow the on-screen instructions. You can now use this software to convert your videos to the correct formats. To launch the program, and use the help guide supplied with the software, goto 'Start>All Programs>AVIConverter>AVIConverter' and click 'Add' and then 'Help'. You will need Microsoft Word of Microsoft Word Viewer installed to view this file.

That's it! We hope you enjoy using your new touch screen MP4 Player!
